BTM-Simple

Components

Cost sensitive battery monitoring solution for small battery installations

The BTM-Simple is composed of the Remote Monitor Unit (RMU) with built-in fiber-optic transmitter/receiver pair, 2 to 260 BTM Picos, connected into a daisy chained fiber optical network and, optionally, a Factstar (float current monitoring device) for discharge, recharge, and float-current measurements.

Distance between BTM Pico devices and RMU can be up to 90 meters. Reliable communication link facilitates rapid data sampling and near real-time data display.

BTM-Net

Cost sensitive battery monitoring solution for small battery installations

The BTM-Net is composed of one RMU with built-in multi-directional IR transceivers, 2 to 120 Pico M's with an IR communication option.

All system components must reside in an area less than 20 meters and line of sight is a requirement. Data exchange speed is moderate. No connection between individual components. Redundant data records in every device.

FS3 Factstar

Cost effective battery monitor.

The FS3 is designed with simplicity in mind. The system can be installed in minutes.

Simple alarms indicate whether the battery is good, bad, or in need of service while the system collects and stores battery data that can be analyzed using the BTM Global or imported directly into a spreadsheet or database application.

BTM Global battery monitoring system (BMS) provides battery health related data locally (in the battery or control room), and globally to specified locations, such as a central monitoring station, or even to unspecified locations on demand via Internet connectivity.

Using local alarm contacts, any detected alarm could be patched into the site Human-Machine Interface (HMI) device, or, using modbus protocol, data can be sent to SCADA.
